Elevator Pitch No. 3

Reflection:
Based on the feedback, it seemed like I was heading in the right direction with my idea. The one thing that I decided to change was to focus in on more specific devices rather than trying to hit every item possible. With a more specific app that focuses on tablets, cellphones, and laptops, I can make it easier for users to find someone to repair their device and I can weed out any users that won't be bringing in traffic to the app as no one needs their services. This also cuts down on how many personnel are listed.

  1. Cody, you seem like you are a natural at elevator pitches. I cannot find anything to critique in this video. This seems like a great idea as well. I am very careful with my phone. However, I still occasionally drop it every now and then. Repairs can be very expensive. New phones are even more expensive. Tech Friend seems like the best option for cracked screens.

  2. Cody, you have a great speaking presence and you really exude confidence. Not only do you have that going for you, your idea itself is great! I think it's really creative that you take into consideration why screen repairs can be so expensive (overhead costs for repairmen), and that you believe that with your app you can eliminate a chunk of those costs. Really good job, and feel free to check out my post here http://jessjohns1.blogspot.com/2016/03/for-this-elevator-pitch-i-used-feedback.html

  3. This reminds me a little bit of the cab company Uber that has taken off recently. This fills a huge need in a humongous market considering everyone has a cell phone and we are always on them. By making an affordable company like Tech Friend you can change the technology business when it comes to repairs. The only thing to worry about is making sure each tech goes through high requirements to ensure they are quality workers. Great job!
